Life Skills for Recovery

Building Confidence in Everyday Living

The Life Skills for Recovery program supports participants to build practical skills that can make everyday life feel more manageable and rewarding.

Sometimes during periods of mental health difficulty, routines and daily activities can become harder to maintain. This program provides a supportive environment where participants can rebuild confidence in everyday tasks at their own pace.

What the Program Offers

Participants are supported to explore skills that help with day-to-day living, such as:

  • Establishing healthy daily routines

  • Cooking simple meals

  • Managing personal organisation

  • Developing problem-solving skills

  • Building confidence in everyday activities

Sessions are relaxed and practical, allowing participants to learn, practice and share ideas together.

A Supportive Learning Environment

Participants are supported by staff and peer support workers, many of whom understand the recovery journey through their own lived experience.

The focus is on small steps, encouragement and building confidence over time.
