Staff and members work side-by-side doing admin, running a kitchen, meal prep, tending the vegetable garden, cleaning, volunteering and working on programs.
Sunflower House’s Activity Program runs Monday to friday.
“THE SUNFLOWER”
From just a tiny seed,
The Sunflower grows.
Standing straight and tall
More vibrant than the rose.
With its large golden petals,
It turns to face the sun.
Painting a colourful picture,
Each and everyone.
It's bright happy face,
Helps lift our spirits high
Filling us with hope,
That we can reach the sky.
Nothing is impossible
It somehow seems to say
From small beginnings greater things
Can surely come our way.
So never give up or give in,
Our dreams are all worthwhile.
Like our friend the sunflower,
The world is brighter when we smile.
